Ages 5-12 are welcome to join Beth Hardy for this 5-week Mindful Moving Kids March/April session! We’ll be learning yoga poses, breathing techniques, practicing mindfulness activities, and playing games that use yoga to foster self-awareness and self-regulation as well as executive functioning skills. Your child(ren) will move, breathe, play, and connect for a 60-minute class, small group size class, which allows Beth to apply her expertise as a school psychologist to tailor the class to every student’s needs. Since the classes run simultaneously to a Slow Flow class with Darina, adults can get their practice in at the same time if desired!

This relaxing yoga class is a combination of gentle and restorative yoga to nourish the body and the mind. We will quiet the mind and rejuvenate the body with gentle poses and transitions, then move to comfortable restorative postures listening to sound bowls and end with exploring the 5 senses with a delightful and delicious form of meditation. Mmmmmm….. chocolate. Props - blocks, bolsters/pillows, and blankets - are welcome. This is a donation based class with proceeds supporting the Fairfax Library Foundation.
The Groove Gathering: Drum Circle - March 2025

The Groove Gathering is a community drum circle where rhythm, connection, and creativity come together. Whether you’re a seasoned drummer or a first-timer, everyone is welcome to join the beat! Bring your own drum or feel free to use one of the instruments provided. New Moon Circle - March 2025

The New Moon Circle is a sacred space held by Emily Bermingham, a trained facilitator, to unite people of all walks of life. The New Moon Circle is a time to gather each month on the New Moon in our local communities for the purpose of pausing and turning inward. Each uniquely themed Circle is a time for meditation, intention setting, well-being, creativity and connection.
