In this 60-minute gentle chair yoga class, Charlotte will guide you through a series of seated and some standing yoga poses, adaptable for all bodies.  Join her for this enlightening and beneficial class. This class is taught in a flow with movement of the entire body. We will use props such as blocks and straps in our seated chair pose. Class is concluded with a guided meditation to help further relaxation. There will also be focus on the breath throughout class. You may be surprised at what you can do in a chair and how much you can get out of it!

This class will be offered both online and in-studio. 


TWO OPTIONS:

1. Eight weeks =  $130, which breaks out to $16.25 per class. (March 13, 20, April 3, 10, 17, 24, May 1 and 8 - NO CLASS MARCH 27 )   If you purchase the 8-week session here you will receive a recording of this class each week, which is also helpful if you have to miss a session or two. When you sign up please be sure to check IN-PERSON or ONLINE for each of the classes.

3. Pay for one class at a time for $23 per class. FOR THIS OPTION PLEASE CLICK ON "Chair Yoga Single Class".  You can sign up for single classes up to two weeks in advance or up to one hour before class time.  If you are a current Breathe member you can sign up for the "Chair Yoga Single Class" option as well using your current membership.



Charlotte Adamo

Always searching for a new way to stay active Charlotte started practicing yoga in 2010; trying everything from Bikram, Ashtanga, Iyengar and finally falling in love with Vinyasa. Charlotte started out teaching vinyasa yoga in 2013 in Northern Virginia, completing her 200-hour yoga training at Tranquil Space. She has passionately spent the last 6 years, teaching Yoga for Cancer classes to people who have been through cancer. Charlotte is certified in Yoga for Cancer trainings through Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital and Yoga4Cancer. Charlotte believes that yoga should be accessible for everyone and loves offering modifications for poses and using lots of props! Charlotte enjoys keeping yoga fun and bringing a sense of lightheartedness to her classes. To be able to offer more of her love for yoga she started Yoga by Charlotte in 2020 to provide private and group yoga both in-person and virtually.
